I decided to share how I stayed on budget and still got what I wanted, a pair of plump full lips which my partner can verify is bouncy kissable, soft as silk now. It used to be dry and brittle, it also made my lips look thin and stern, like I was mean and angry even when I wasn't.
Don't get me started about winter lips, they cracked so bad, they bled in the harsh dry Boston weather.
