The consistency is like water, it’s not really a toner but can be used as one. I also decanted into a spray bottle (bonus that came with the new bottle), to bring along during the day. Works awesome as a mid day face mist over make up, to hydrate the skin.

Made using Coix seed extract, it has 12 types of amino acids that would help  retain moisture inside the skin barrier. It has an entire range, including a gel and a cream.

It’s similar to Hada Labo, I use that too and both are suitable for all skin types including sensitive combination skin like mine.

It’s more watery than Hada Labo so mist wise, it works better, while both are water based and considered light in consistency unlike heavier creams, Hada Labo is slightly thicker so doesn't mist as well.

This is the back of the bottle, with instructions, it works as promised. It is oil free, hypoallergenic, colorant and fragrance free. I do find it's much gentler than many skincare lines out there, I'm allergic to dust which isn't something I can control when I'm outdoors.

I used to experience so much stress when it came to skincare, then the anxiety made me give up on bothering, so the cycle of self neglect continues.

Phew, I'm so glad I'm over that.

When I break out in a rash, misting calms down my skin, rubbing or picking can make it worse. I skipped steroid creams that can thin the skin, making it weaker again sun damage and oxidants, perpetuating a cycle of bad skin and bad body image

I replaced it with this, so my skin has never been healthier, my body image is body positive, I enjoy both good health inside and out and it shows!

Both are J Beauty value for money drugstore best sellers. It’s called conditioner on the bottle so it’s a bit confusing. There's no Japanese word for toner anyway so you can use it in a way that works for you! Trying different delivery styles is an art and a science, I like experimenting with different products and also how to layer them.

It’s sold as a lotion in Singapore, I saw 2000 ml soft pack refills posted online but it isn’t available where I am right now. I would totally go for refills whenever possible, it's easier to store flat pack back ups.

It’s really light and absorbs really well, in 5 seconds. Perfect for the morning rush!

My skin got softer, clearer and more bouncy.

It’s such an awesome down to earth brand, with a crazy good price point, really value for money, receipt is in SGD Singapore Dollars. I got it from Guardian Pharmacy in Singapore, it's similar to Guoda Drugstores in China, Matsumoto Kiyoshi in Japan,  Boots in Thailand.

I love drugstores!

I use it night and day after face wash, on a cotton pad as cleansing step 2. I use only reusable cotton pads, it works well with that, no problem!

I highly recommend doing that, I saves so much money on disposable cotton rounds and benefit the environment at the same time!

Make sure you let the lotion dry first so your make up don’t cake, I was in a hurry once and learned that lesson.

It's an absolute gem, don't let the minimal down to earth packaging fool you, it's an absolute must buy!

I hope by doing reviews, it can help consumers make informed buying decisions, reduce wastage and help keep the clutter monster away from our painstakingly organised homes.
